Purpose Statement
The Data Support Specialist position requires a detail-oriented, data driven individual who thrives in a fast paced, high energy environment at ENGS Commercial Finance, Co. This candidate will need to be able to multi-task with assignments and support the Data Governance department, a division of Information Systems, in a variety of different functions.
You, along with a team of peers, will collectively manage a queue of incoming credit applications from our associated vendors, Sales team, and our web-based application submission platform. You will be responsible for data entry of the credit applications in our proprietary back-end system, SalesForce, with a high degree of accuracy and speed.

Essential Job Duties
- Work in a team of peers, collectively managing a queue of incoming credit applications from our related vendors, internal Sales team, and our web-based application platform
- Enter data from credit applications submitted to ENGS in a proprietary back-end system, SalesForce, with a high degree of accuracy and speed
- Obtain material from various third-party data sources
- Materials could include consumer and commercial credit reports, entity formation detail, and company safety data
- Third party sources could include Experian, PayNet, Dun & Bradstreet, Secretary of State databases, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration databases, and U.S. Treasury Specially Designated Nationals List
- Participate in high priority, miscellaneous Data Governance initiatives, such as:
- Data entry/upload of potential purchases of external portfolio of contracts
- New product integration rollouts that will be placed in the application entry process
- Undergo training and execute procedural changes, at the direction of the Sr. Manager, Data Governance
- Communicate professionally and promptly with ENGS associates
- Work closely with the Sales team to assure all needed material is attached with the credit application
- Provide feedback, as needed, to Sr. Manager, Data Governance on daily operations and troubleshooting
- Maintain the integrity of ENGS and our parent company and recognize that the responsibility of protecting the rights and data of our customers is essential
Job Qualification Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy within time constraints
- Maintain data integrity by performing tasks with attention on detail and precision
- Have a team-focused outlook, while being able to work independently
- Ambitious attitude with a diligent work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred
- Experience with SalesForce preferred
- Experience with credit underwriting, commercial finance and equipment terminology preferred
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to performing the job in a standard office environment
