ENGS Launches E-Signature Documentation for Transportation Division

ENGS Commercial Finance launched a secure electronic signature documentation solution for its Transportation division. This solution, which is among the first of its type in the commercial equipment finance space, has already been successfully implemented in ENGS’s Industrial and Construction divisions, and is now available to its Transportation customers.

“Having the ability to sign documents electronically will add significant efficiency along with overall security and compliance to the entire transaction process,” commented Jim Freund, executive vice president of ENGS Commercial Finance. “We understand the importance of being at the forefront of technology, and ENGS is excited to utilize this tool companywide to increase productivity and improve the documentation experience for our dealers and customers.”

E-Signature will provide the following benefits:

  • Mobile functionality. The customer can sign the documents anytime, anywhere, on the road or at home; the customer need-not come into the dealership to sign.
  • 100% accuracy. E-Signature verifies that all documents are completed correctly, which means no delays in funding due to documentation mistakes.
  • Quicker funding. E-signature transactions will shorten documentation time, enabling quicker payment to the dealer.
Better customer experience. The ENGS E-Signature process will simplify the process for the customer and the dealer, greatly enhancing the customer’s experience.

“The biggest benefit I have experienced using the ENGS E-Signature process is that it shortens the time to get documents back and shortens the time to fund my transactions. And the documents are always correct. No more wasting time going back to the customer to clean up mistakes. Plus, we receive instant confirmation when the customer receives the e-documents, and again when the transaction funds. It has made the closing experience so much easier and quicker for all parties involved,” commented Vendor division customer Steve McDonald, sales manager at Gosiger Holdings, one of the largest Machine Tool dealers in the U.S.
